Gillman & Soame have the largest collection of archive school photographs in the UK - 65,000 since 1884. Remember the mass of activity and interest when Friends Reunited first started, well we are now giving you the opportunity to get on the second wave. At My Old School Photo we have secured the rights to 65,000 old school group photos dating back to the 1800s and with a large proportion being in the 60s, 70s and 80s so targeting that age group that is really nostalgic about their past. There are over 6,000 organisations (the majority are schools but it also includes colleges and other organisations) in the archive. People will be able to buy prints, mounted prints and framed prints with prices ranging from £30 -£100. People will be able to preview their photo and check they are on it before buying however, in some cases the film has not been scanned so they will need to buy a preview image (£4.95 and also commissionable). The archive has some fantastic images and includes many famous people. With some 19 million people included in the images this is a great opportunity to generate substantial revenues. Also images are constantly being added to the collection so we see this as being a constant source of income for quite some while.
